Driving Directions Gaunts House is located on 2000 private acres, three miles north of Wimborne, twenty minutes from Ringwood and Poole, 30 minutes from Bournemouth and Christchurch, 45 minutes from Dorchester, Salisbury and Southampton. Airports London Heathrow or Gatwick; Southampton; Bournemouth; Exeter; Bristol. Directions to Gaunts for international travelers. 2. Take Airport bus from Heathrow to London Waterloo Station. 3. From Waterloo Station take a train to Poole, Dorset that will take about 2 hours. 4. From 4. From train station take a taxi, 20 mins., approx. £25.00, Taxi phone #’s 01202 888888 and 01202 884444 When to travel: You could travel a day or two before, stay overnight in London and go to Gaunts the next morning; for the return, you can leave Gaunts on the day the workshop ends and possibly make it to Heathrow in time for a night flight home. |
Accommodations |
Room/board charges are £95 per night for single occupancy. The Kinder Institute will make all room arrangements. If you have provided a credit/debit card we will bill your room charges, otherwise you will be invoiced. Gaunt’s House is a lovely retreat setting. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are shared (but there are many), so be sure to bring a bathrobe. Also, slippers/warm socks are recommended as some of the meeting rooms do not allow shoes. Towels are provided. |
Preparation
5-Day Life Planning Training
Please complete as much as you can of the following items:
- Read Kinder’s textbook on Life Planning called Lighting the Torch. Available through Kinder Institute upon registration.
- Re-read Seven Stages of Money Maturity; or, if you’re pressed for time, focus particularly on Chapter 7 “Understanding: The Deep Heart’s Core”. Available at Amazon.com.
- Please prepare a net worth statement and personal budget and bring it with you.
- Please complete the following exercises on the Kinder Institute’s www.lifeplanningforyou.com website. Then print a PDF of your completed worksheets and bring to the training. You will be using these exercises throughout the training.
- Go to www.lifeplanningforyou.com and register to create an account.
- Click on the link in the upper right-hand corner “Click to log in or register” and follow the registration process.
- Complete pages 1-9 of the EVOKE Wizard and pages 1-9 of the Ideal Schedule Wizard. You can also use the menu to navigate to the following pages:

- Print out your exercises using the PDF Tool on the Summary pages for each set of exercises below

3. When PDF dialogue box opens click Open
4. Once the PDF file opens click File > Print to print a copy to bring to the training. If you would like to save the PDF for your records click File >Save As
5. If you want to make edits to your EVOKE Worksheets simply login, make your edits and then use the Summary > Print PDF button to print out your worksheets again.
