About My Practice
Legacy Consulting Group's mission "is to provide our client's the opportunity to live inspired lives by helping them successfully navigate life's transitions." Founded in 1997 by Roger Shake and Steve Wachs, the firm currently works with 140 select families to help them define, articulate and move toward "living an inspired life." Our Financial Life Planning process allows clients get to the core of what truly matters and provides motivation for them to live out their aspirational life.

Ideal Clients
Roger works primarily with high net worth (>$2,000,000) individuals, families, retirees, and younger widows/widowers and divorcees. Typically, clients are contemplating or experiencing a significant life transition and our Financial Life Planning process provides the time and space for reflection and introspection about what really matters. Approximately 50% of our clients have made work optional (retired) and are enjoying making a difference in the lives of others. We are especially effective in helping with the difficult transition of losing a spouse due to divorce or death. Approximately 20% of our clients have experienced this type of loss.
