About My Practice
I started Script Financial (now YFP Planning) in 2016 with the vision to empower pharmacists to achieve financial freedom. I partnered with Tim Ulbrich, PharmD to further this vision, as we connect with pharmacists across the country via our podcast, blog, website, speaking engagement, and 1:1 financial planning relationships.
About Tim Baker
Tim Baker, CFP® is a sworn fiduciary and fee-only financial planner that has your best interest in mind. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), he is credentialed to provide the most comprehensive designation with respect to financial planning.
I grew up in New Jersey. After graduating from high school, I attended the United States Military Academy majoring in International Relations and branching Armor. After having a cup of coffee in the Army (thanks to the medical board :/), I started a career in logistics for a major retailer and then a construction company in Ohio and California respectively. I enjoyed logistics but left that career desiring something more.
In 2012, I decided to move to Baltimore, MD to join a small independent financial planning firm where I could learn about the business and earn the necessary licenses and certifications to begin assisting clients in meeting their financial goals.
In 2016, I launched my own financial planning firm Script Financial (now YFP Planning) where I actively work to assist pharmacists with achieving financial freedom. At the end of 2020, YFP Planning moved to Columbus, OH.
