Specialties
I work with a wide range of clients assisting with retirement, inheritance, family gifting, tax strategies, asset allocation, spending policy, and portfolio management. I have responsibility for managing important client family relationships. I am also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

About My Practice
Bartlett Wealth has been in business since 1898. We are highly regarded in our region for being sound advisors, planners and investment managers. We do advanced financial planning and portfolio management. We have three approaches to investing: individual securities, active mutual funds, and passive (index) mutual funds and ETFs.

About Woodrow Uible
My early years of growing up were on a farm just north of Cincinnati with eight siblings. My mom managed us at home and my dad managed his law practice. I attended the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, i started my career in the trust department of a bank analyzing common stocks. I joined Bartlett in 1980 and have been immersed in all phases of the investment management and advisory business since then. I volunteer for various community organizations and I'm currently board chair of Interact for Health. I have three children and five grandchildren. They live in Chicago and New York City.

Ideal Clients
Clients include various professionals and doctors and those with inherited wealth. Ages range from the children of clients who may be in there late teens to others in their 90's. In several situation, i have worked with several generations of the same family. Its about an even split between men and women. Portfolio size can range from a few thousand dollars to over $50,000,000. Most of the accounts on the lower end are parts of larger relationships.

Qualifications
My work with multiple generations over several decades led to my interest in life planning. As i became more knowledgeable about a family's culture, values and goals it was a natural fit for me. I found that the trust engendered over many years allowed me to have conversations and give advice outside of purely financial matters.

Compensation
Most of our fees are based on assets under management. However, in life planning engagements we propose a fee based on the scope of the engagement.
